| LEVEL SWIM PLATFORM IN SLOPING POOL | ||
| - It is not possible for us to build our platforms to accommodate sloping pool bottoms | ||
| - We recommend a simple DIY "leveling" solution that will work in most situations | ||
| - Do not use this method if: | ||
| - the length of the platform is over 7 feet long | ||
| - the drop over the length of the platform is more than 4 inches | ||
| - Base of platform MUST be" reinforced" with aluminum supports inside colored tubes or it will "sag" | ||
| - By trial and error, calculate space needed at leading edge of platform to make it level | ||
| - Purchase a section of PVC tubing that: | ||
| - is as wide as the leading edge of the platform | ||
| - has a diameter close to the space you calculated to make the platform level | ||
| - Do not place PVC more than 6 inches back from the leading edge - will cause stress | ||
| - Attach the PVC tube with plastic ties (temporary) or no-rust screws (permanent) | ||
| - Use other materials to duplicate this process - but ensure will not harm pool bottom or water | ||
